All About Negotiations LIVE Workshop

COMING SOON

Long before you are on the job market, it is essential to prepare for the offer. Negotiating an academic position should never be an afterthought. Wise negotiating requires education, planning, and practice. This interactive seminar will provide you with strategies to determine what to ask for and how to ask for what you need and want. You will also leave with recommendations concerning what you should do before, during, and after the job offer.

By the end of the session you will:

  • Define what it means to negotiate

  • Define the goals of negotiating

  • Identify some needs and wants across pertinent areas relevant to professional and personal success

  • Review a formula to understand how much to ask for when on the job market

  • Learn concrete steps that you can practice before, during, and after your job offer.
